Often do we find in reports that Physics takes a toll on the overall performance of the candidates in any competitive exam concerned with Physics. Since JEE Advanced syllabus is based on class 11 and class 12 NCERT books, therefore, it might not pose a problem.

Chemistry is one of the easiest sections in JEE Advanced exam. Candidates who have a solid grip on the topics and concepts covered in class 11 and class 12 of NCERT syllabus can attempt this section without facing any issue. Most of the questions which are asked are really conceptual, concerned with structures, processes, and applications.

As per previous year analysis, in paper 1, there were 18 questions to be answered in each subject. These were distributed in 3 sections. The distribution of questions is as given below:
JEE Advanced Paper 1
Questions in section 1 of Paper 1 will include single choice correct answer questions. Section 2 comprises one or more correct option, whereas section 3 consists of single digit integer.
JEE Advanced Paper 2
Questions in section 1 of Paper 2 will include one or more than one correct answer type questions. Section 2 comprises one or more correct option, whereas section 3 consists of comprehension MCQs.

JEE Advanced offers an opportunity for the aspirants to equip themselves with in-depth knowledge of each subject. Accordingly, they immerse themselves into the study of particular topic. But there are several other factors which play a key role in successfully attempting the exam.
- Manage your time well. It is important to keep a record beforehand, of the time you take to solve the paper.
- Keep a track of the time you take to complete each section. If needed, improve the areas of fault.
- Solve the previous year jee advanced question papers to know about your preparation and analyze the weak areas.
- Take guidance from your teachers and mentors and imbibe the suggestions they put forth.
