A few days back CBSE board released the new curriculum for session 2021-2022. The new session begins from April. Markedly, CBSE has made no reduction in the new syllabus.
The board reduced the syllabus by 30% in the last academic session due to Covid – 19 situation. The students who studied the reduced syllabus will appear in exams this year in May-June. But, according to the new syllabus for session 2021-2022, CBSE has restored the cut out topics from the syllabus. Also read – CBSE Releases New Curriculum for Academic session 2021-2022.
“The board already announced last year that the rationalisation exercise was a one-time initiative as teaching and learning through online mediums or alternative methods was fairly new then,” a CBSE official said.
