Qualifying aspirants of JEE Main and Advanced will have to appear for JoSAA 2019. JoSAA 2019 counseling will be conducted to manage and regulate the seat allocation for admissions into 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs, and 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes. Candidates will have to register and fill their choices to participate in JoSAA 2019. From the second week of June, the choice filling and registration of JoSAA 2019 will commence tentatively in online mode. Mock seat allotment will be conducted in 2 rounds by the authorities before the seat allocation. 7 rounds of JoSAA will be conducted once the result of mock seat allotment will be declared where seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their preference of college & course and the merit. Qualified candidates of JEE Main and JEE Advanced will be eligible for admissions into 97 participating institutes. The number of undergraduate engineering seats for eligible candidates is over 34,000 (according to the officials).
