The registration window for the JEE (Main) test closed on Saturday. However, applicants will have to send the confirmation pages to the address mentioned in the information bulletin by December 26 to finalise registration.
The test, which will be conducted in April, will determine engineering admissions to non-IIT institutes.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is conducting the test, has issued a notification which states: “All the aspirant candidates of JEE Main 2013 who have completed their registration through the online application form and have also paid fees for the examination, are informed that they should send a duly completed confirmation page (along with bank draft, in case fees were paid through bank draft) immediately to the address mentioned in the Information Bulletin so as to reach latest by 26/12/2012. The candidature of those whose confirmation page is not received by then will be rejected.”
Further, the board will display particulars of all candidates on the JEE (Main) website (idioms website) in the second week of January 2013, so that the candidates can rectify incorrect particulars, if any.
