JEE Advanced 2018:

JEE Advanced 2018 Eligibility Criteria:
There are 5 important criteria to fulfill in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2018. These include age limit, JEE Main 2018 result performance, qualifying examination passing year, number of attempts, IIT admission an earlier year. Going by usual eligibility set fixed by Joint Admission Board, following are likely eligibility criteria.
Performance in JEE Main 2018:
Students will need to qualify JEE Main 2018. Students who are scoring Top 2,20,000 (including all categories) in JEE Main 2018 will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2018.
Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1992. Those who belong to SC / ST / PWD category will get 5 years relaxation.
Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) Examination:
Year of passing class 12 examination should be either 2017 or 2018.
The number of attempts:
A candidate can attempt for JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
Earlier admission at IIT:
Those who have earlier taken admission in an IIT, irrespective of whether or not they continued in the program or accepted the seat by reporting at a reporting center in the past, are not eligible. If admission to IITs was cancelled, then also he/she are ineligible. Candidates who got admission to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2017 can appear in JEE Advanced 2018. Likewise, those who paid seat acceptance fee but not accepted the seat by not reporting at any reporting center during joint seat allocation in 2017 are eligible.
JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form:
Registration for JEE Advanced will start a day after the declaration of result of JEE Main 2018. Link to apply online will be available for a window of only 5-7 days. Register and submit the application form before the deadline. Candidates may also get a chance to register with the late fee. It is important to realize that simply qualifying in JEE Main is not enough to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2018. It is necessary to fill and submit JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form also by following rules established by the organizing IIT.
How to apply?
- The first thing to remember is that JEE Advanced 2018 Registration will be at jeeadv.ac.in only.
- Register at any time between start and end dates.
- You will need JEE Main credentials for application form of JEE Advanced.
- Login for the purpose of registration.
- Enter choice of language of question papers, the city where you want to appear for exam, add contact details, and upload documents.
- Scan documents to upload in online application form including class 10 certificate, class 12 certificates, and category certificate.
- Pay application fee. Last year fee amount was Rs 1200 for females, all SC / ST / PwD candidates; Rs 2400 for others.
