Thinking that Biology is a theory subject, and it can be covered in a short span of time (race against time phrase meaning) is what some students do. Many others have complexity in dealing with the subject. Here are the steps you should follow to learn the subject in a better and easier way:-

  1. MAKE A SCHEDULE

The first step in the preparation for biology for NEET is making a schedule of your daily hours. Your schedule should be planned that it contains time of your wakening up, your breakfast time, an hour for learning concepts of biology, 2 hours for practicing and an hour around for self-study of all concepts of Biology and the problems practiced. Make sure that at least 4 hours be given to biology and this schedule should be followed for 8 weeks straight.

  1. MONITORING

After making a schedule and following it for 8 weeks straight a student should put a break on his schedule for a day and go on a check. He should monitor whether he is understanding all the concepts clearly or not, whether or not he is gaining 100 percent knowledge of all the concepts or not, whether or not the schedule has become his part of life. The student should focus on covering all topics with 100 percent clarity rather than focusing on covering more topics. At last, he should assure that his speed and accuracy of solving biology questions should increase up to 70ques per hour.

  1. CHAPTER TARGETS

Before making the 8-week schedule you should decide the chapter target you should cover. You have to decide which chapter has to be covered in the first and which chapter in the last instance. In biology the chapter targets are as follows: Digestive absorption, Respiratory system, circulatory system, excretory system, cell bio, cell cycle, plant kingdom. You have to cover these chapters in the order given.

  1. WEEKLY TIME

Unlike physics and chemistry biology is not a practical subject rather it is a theoretical subject. Biology in itself is an untroubled subject and can be covered with fewer efforts compared to physics and chemistry. But the problem with this subject is that although it is a very easy subject but is a very deep subject instead and thus it should be given more time than any other subject. As it is a very scoring subject thus 1 or 2 hrs. Extra has to be allotted to biology than any other subject.

  1. MONITORING CHART

A monitoring chart has to be prepared for each and every subject has to be prepared to make the count of whether the student has been able to cope up with the hours he has allotted to each subject or not. For instance, if biology has been allotted 4 hrs. Daily then students should make a monitoring chart jotting down 1, 2, 3, 4 numbers that depict the hours. As a student goes on covering each hour he should put a cross on the numbers and this will help him to monitor whether or not he has allotted the required time to that subject after 8 weeks

  1. COVERING WEAK TOPICS

It is advisable for all the students to devote a particular day in a week to the topics they find tough or left uncovered or which they are weak in. It would be easy for every student to take (take with a grain of salt idiom synonym) Sunday as the day to cover the tough topics or topics that they think they are weak in. This will.be also helpful for students in weekly monitoring as to where they stand.

This way you can complete Biology in a systematic and organized way without any hustle during exam time.
