- CONFUSION ON CONDUCTION
This is still a big query in front of students, teachers and parents on whether the 12th board examinations be conducted or not. All the students and their guardians are in opposition on conduction of board exams but no point has been highlighted by the CBSE regarding cancelation or conduction of board exams. The CBSE board exams were going to held from May 4, 2021 buy due to the increasing cases of COVID 19 the exams were deferred by the board.
- INDIAN WIDE PARENTS ASSOCIATION
The Indian Wide Parents association has communicated to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi via a letter asking him for help to intervene in the matter and take (take with a grain of salt idiom synonym) necessary steps. They want PM Narendra Modi to come forward and restrict the board in conducting offline papers in fear of COVID 19. If offline papers are conducted will be a serious threat to health of students in a large number.
- CAMPAIGN BY STUDENTS
This scenario has led to all the students go in agony and stress as to how this road will lead them to a bright future. Depression, anxiety, mental stress tends to ascend due to this delayed decision by the board. All the students have started the campaign mentioning our PM Modi in their tweets. Students from worldwide have used the #modiji_cancel12board exams, #cancelboardexams etc. urging government to address this issue on a national level and restrict the conduction of offline exams. All the students want the government to find an alternative of these offline exams to avoid threat to life of students.
- RESPONSE BY CBSE BOARD
A big question arises here is that whether or not exams will be conducted in this year and if EXAMS will be conducted in which mode will they be conducted as no clear cut information has been provided by CBSE board. The CBSE board exams were going to held from May 4, 2021 but due to ascending cases of COVID 19 they were postponed and people have been informed that next step by the board will be based on the COVID cases after June 1, 2021. Only a small statement has been issued by the board which is as follows: ‘It is clarified that no such decision has been taken by the board regarding class 12th exams has been speculated in certain sections of the media. Any decision taken on this matter will be communicated to the public.’
Worldwide campaigns by students have led the government come forward on a National Level and sort out this issue. A meeting was conducted by our Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal with the CMs of different states and asked them to provide suggestions regarding conduction of board exams. Parents and students should see this as a light of hope as it can surely lead to cancellation of board exams.
